Togo/Digitalization: The ministry in charge of the civil service joins the system
The Togolese government’s commitment to digitizing public services is making significant strides, with the Ministry of Public Service, Labor, and Social Dialogue now actively participating in this transformative initiative.
Official sources indicate ongoing efforts to implement digitalization within the ministry’s services provided to the public.
Recent activities have been spearheaded by the Ministry of Digital Transformation, specifically through the Agency Togo Digital (ATD).
The ATD is targeting several key processes for digitalization, including recruitment.
The goal is to have 100% of the ministry’s administrative forms available online by the end of the year, in alignment with ATD’s acceleration plan and the government’s broader ambitions.
The initiative aims to offer individuals and organizations the ability to complete forms online, submit their documents, pay processing fees, and schedule appointments for any in-person requirements.
This move is set to enhance the efficiency and accessibility of public services.
To date, over fifty administrative procedures have been successfully digitized on the national public services portal, greatly simplifying interactions between users and the administration.
This digital shift is poised to further ease the administrative burden on citizens and improve overall service delivery.
