Togo – Congo / Visit by Togolese President Faure Gnassingbé to Congo: Strengthening ties of friendship and cooperation

In a gesture underscoring the significance of bilateral relations, the President of the Republic of Togo, Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, embarked on an official visit to Congo on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.

Warmly welcomed by his Congolese counterpart, Denis Sassou-Nguesso, upon arrival in Brazzaville, this visit holds particular importance in the context of consolidating the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two African nations.

During this meeting, the two heads of state engaged in one-on-one discussions, where they examined various aspects of bilateral cooperation.

The talks focused on economic, trade, and environmental areas, reflecting the shared determination to strengthen exchanges and investments between Togo and Congo.
