Burkina Faso: Presidency update on Faso’s Youth Empowerment Programme

The Presidency of Burkina Faso has expressed regret regarding the circulation of malicious statements on social media. These messages claim the existence of a supposed presidential program aimed at providing grants to young people for funding their projects, under the name “2024 National Youth Empowerment Fund.”

The Presidency reaffirms its commitment to the youth of the country but emphasizes the importance of transparency and legitimacy in implementing any government program.

Citizens are encouraged to report any suspicious activity or false communication claiming to originate from the presidency to prevent possible fraud and maintain trust in official institutions.

By staying vigilant and informed through appropriate channels, young Burkinabe individuals can avoid falling into traps set by malicious actors.
