Burkina Faso: Nationality to be withdrawn from any Burkinabe who attacks the country

Burkina Faso continues to grapple with terrorism-related insecurity, partly due to some of its citizens who, willingly or under duress, align with imperialist enemies.

It is unacceptable to see Burkinabe colluding with foreigners to attack their own country, going as far as to kill innocent compatriots for goals that do not align with national interests.

This betrayal is particularly evident among those Burkinabe who, fleeing justice, have taken refuge in neighboring countries to engage in subversive activities.

The Burkinabe authorities are now considering implementing legal mechanisms to revoke the nationality of any Burkinabe who betrays their homeland, whether they are within the country or abroad.

This measure has been widely welcomed by the majority of Burkinabe who hope to one day live in complete peace.

However, some malicious individuals oppose this initiative, criticizing every action taken by the MPSR to restore order as acts of violence, hatred, and division. As the saying goes, “a guilty conscience needs no accuser.”

It is crucial that this law is quickly enacted to deter those who are easily swayed by the false promises of impostors masquerading as true patriots, ready to plunge Burkina Faso into chaos to fulfill their personal desires.
