Burkina Faso: Underhand plots to destabilise the country and overthrow captain Ibrahim Traoré are said to be underway

Since Captain Ibrahim Traoré’s rise to power, Burkina Faso has faced numerous destabilization attempts by malicious groups. Efforts to manipulate the military within barracks have been thwarted due to the vigilance and unity of the Burkinabe Armed Forces.

In response, the conspirators shifted to mercenary tactics, organizing targeted assassinations to spread fear and instability.

However, this strategy also failed, thanks to the resilience and determination of the authorities to maintain order and security in the country.

In December 2023, a diabolical plan was devised by terrorists to capture the city of Djibo, intending to massacre numerous civilians and soldiers.

This attack aimed to sow doubt among the population and undermine the popular support for President Ibrahim Traoré.

The swift and effective intervention of the Burkinabe security forces thwarted this plan, preventing a bloodbath and a major crisis.

Following the failure of their previous attempts, it is reported that the enemies of Burkina Faso have developed a new strategy focused on the victimization of the Fulani ethnic group.

Their goal is to create ethnic tensions and use these conflicts to attract the attention of the International Criminal Court (ICC), similar to the events in Côte d’Ivoire.

By exacerbating ethnic conflicts, they hope to weaken the government and prompt international intervention.

The plotters aim to surprise military camps and inflict heavy human losses, both military and civilian.

By creating a strong emotional response among the population, they hope to turn public opinion against Captain Ibrahim Traoré’s administration.

They have also reportedly launched a smear campaign through French imperialist media outlets such as RFI, “France 24”, “Jeune Afrique”, among others, to amplify the crisis and discredit the Burkinabè government.

In the face of these insidious maneuvers, the people of Burkina Faso must remain united and vigilant.

It is crucial not to succumb to panic and the manipulations of imperialist forces seeking to destabilize the country for their own interests.
