LaLiga unveils 2024-2025 season schedule: Key Clasico dates announced

On Tuesday, June 18, 2024, LaLiga unveiled the schedule for the upcoming season for all 20 Spanish teams.

Highlights include the eagerly anticipated Clasicos between reigning champions Real Madrid and their arch-rivals FC Barcelona.

The season kicks off on August 15 and concludes on May 25.

In the first round of matches, Real Madrid will visit Mallorca, while Barcelona faces Valencia CF at Mestalla.

Last season’s surprise team, Girona, will play against Betis, and Atlético Madrid will go up against Villarreal.

As usual, fans are especially keen on the Clasico dates. The first clash is set for October 27, 2024, at Santiago Bernabéu during the 11th matchday, which might feature Kylian Mbappé’s Clasico debut.

The return match will take place on May 11, 2025, at FC Barcelona’s home ground during the 35th matchday.

Additionally, the Premier League schedule was also announced earlier in the day.
