Burkina Faso/Diplomacy: Sincere and solid relations for the benefit of the people of Burkina Faso

Forging sincere and solid friendships and cooperation, based on mutual respect and the sovereignty of each party, while meeting the deep aspirations of the people, are the fundamental principles guiding bilateral cooperation between Burkina Faso and its global partners.

Under the leadership of the transitional authorities, headed by President Captain Ibrahim Traoré, the paramount concerns remain the well-being of the population, the sovereignty, and the freedom of their country.

The era of master-slave relationships, of colonizer and colonized, is over for the Burkinabe.

Today, the focus is on diversifying partnerships and fostering relationships based on mutual interests, dignity, happiness, and the overall flourishing of the Burkinabè population.

Burkina Faso now maintains multifaceted friendships and cooperation with numerous countries worldwide.

The reception on Friday, June 28th, where the Head of State accepted credentials from ten (10) new ambassadors, underscores the Burkinabè authorities’ commitment to broadening their partnerships.

With strategic allies, the country aims to enhance its priority sectors, particularly in the fight against terrorism and the social and economic development of the nation.

These priority areas include defense and security, the economy, agriculture, energy, education and vocational training, science and culture, as well as craftsmanship.
