Burkina Faso/Counter-terrorism: Terrorist provocations will no longer be tolerated

Burkinabe fighting forces, now well-equipped and driven by unwavering patriotism, have taken a firm stance against provocations from terrorists.

In every attack or attempted assault on their positions or villages, the Burkinabe fighters respond with formidable force, delivering substantial defeats to their adversaries.

Recent reports from the Burkina Information Agency (AIB) indicate that over the weekend, several criminals who attacked the locality of Monkuy in the Boucle du Mouhoun region were neutralized.

The swift mobilization and professionalism of the aerial combat units played a crucial role in securing yet another victory for Burkina Faso against the terrorists.

These successes can be attributed to the professionalism, commitment, and dedication of the soldiers.

Moreover, the enhancement of their operational capabilities and the acquisition of advanced warfare equipment, funded by Burkinabe citizens, have significantly bolstered their effectiveness.

Under the leadership of President Ibrahim Traoré and his team, an effective strategy has been developed to combat armed terrorist groups and reclaim national territory.

The acquisition of drones has been particularly instrumental in tracking and neutralizing a significant number of enemies.

This capability has drawn the ire of those supporting terrorism, who are attempting to block the delivery of such equipment to Burkina Faso.

The unwavering support and engagement of the civilian population also provide essential motivation to the fighters who sacrifice themselves day and night for the country’s liberation and security.

It is vital for civilians to continue this support to ensure a decisive victory over their enemies.
