Louis Van Gaal candidly discusses Health Recovery: “I Can’t have sex anymore”

Louis Van Gaal, the esteemed Dutch football coach, who had announced his battle with cancer in April 2022, made a rare public appearance this Friday, sharing an unexpected concern regarding his recovery.

Speaking to Dutch television channel RTL, the 72-year-old provided an update on his health.

Van Gaal revealed that while he is feeling better, he is facing ongoing challenges.

“My health? I’m doing well. After three years of radiotherapy, kidney infections, and prostate surgery, I am finally getting there. I can urinate naturally again, which is important. But I can no longer have sexual activity, and that is a problem,” he stated with a serious demeanor.

Van Gaal’s candid remarks quickly caught the attention of social media, with many reacting to his forthrightness.

His journey through rigorous cancer treatments and the subsequent impact on his daily life has sparked both concern and support from fans and the football community alike.

Despite the gravity of his health struggles, Van Gaal’s openness about such a personal aspect of his recovery underscores his characteristic bluntness and resilience.
