Football/ England National Team appointed a new head coach
Lee Carsley has been officially named the interim manager of the England national football team, replacing Gareth Southgate.
The announcement was made by the Football Association (FA) on Friday. Carsley, who previously managed the England Under-21 team, will lead the senior squad as they prepare for the UEFA Nations League 2024-2025.
Mark Bullingham, FA Chief Executive, praised Carsley’s appointment, saying, “He brings a solid interim solution, and we are confident he will perform well in the upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures.”
