Frank Lampard shifts gears to BBC Football analysis after Chelsea exit

Frank Lampard is making a significant career shift, moving from the sidelines of Chelsea to the studio of BBC. Following a difficult second term as Chelsea’s manager, Lampard is set to join BBC’s lineup of football analysts.

As reported by The Sun, Lampard will become part of BBC’s football consultancy team, joining former players like Clarence Seedorf from the Netherlands, England’s Daniel Sturridge, and Gaël Clichy from France.

His appointment comes after his brief stint as Chelsea’s interim manager in the spring of 2023, which followed Graham Potter’s exit.

This new role will see Lampard applying his football expertise and insights in a broadcasting setting, marking a notable shift from his previous coaching role.
