The President of Faso, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, granted an audience this Friday morning to a delegation of organisers of the first edition of the summer university for young people from member countries of the Confederation of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES).

The meeting is part of an initiative to strengthen regional cooperation and promote the involvement of young people in the socio-economic development of the Sahel region.

The delegation, made up of the Ministers for Youth and Sport from Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger, came to give President Traoré an update on the activities of the summer university, and to seek his advice and guidance on the next stages of this ambitious project.
