On Sunday, he met with the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, at the Diwan Amiri Palace in Doha.

Their discussions centered on strengthening bilateral ties, with a particular focus on investment opportunities in the DRC and fostering global peace.

Valérie Lusamba, the DRC’s ambassador to Qatar, highlighted the growing significance of these relations, emphasizing, “Our partnership is still new, and it’s essential to nurture it.”

As part of this strategic engagement, President Tshisekedi also held talks with Saoud Al Thani, Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.

Although details of their discussions remain undisclosed, the meeting signals a commitment to deepening collaboration in critical areas for the DRC.

These engagements underscore the President’s proactive approach to positioning the DRC as a key player on the international stage while building mutual trust between the two nations.
