President Ibrahim Traoré vows to reclaim Burkina Faso’s territorial integrity

In a resolute address to the leaders and stakeholders of the Plateau-Central region, President Ibrahim Traoré reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to restoring Burkina Faso’s territorial integrity. Facing persistent security challenges, he emphasized the continuation of military operations aimed at eradicating the terrorist threat.

“We will reclaim every inch of our territory,” he declared, outlining a deliberate and irreversible strategy to secure every corner of the nation.

Ongoing military operations are already yielding results, consolidating recent victories and extending state control to even the most remote areas.

The government’s approach is methodical: each reclaimed zone is followed by the permanent deployment of security forces to ensure stability and prevent the resurgence of armed groups.

This strategy not only focuses on recovering lost territories but also on creating lasting peace and security.

President Traoré issued a stern ultimatum to terrorist groups, urging them to surrender and reintegrate into society or face inevitable defeat. “We are tightening the noose around these groups,” he stated, underscoring his determination to eliminate terrorism.

His vision is clear: lasting peace can only be achieved through the complete reconquest of Burkina Faso’s territory, backed by robust and effective security measures.

With a steadfast resolve, President Traoré is leading the charge to restore stability and sovereignty, ensuring that Burkina Faso emerges stronger and more united in the face of adversity.
