Africa: AFRICOM’s General Michael Langley Implicated in Bribery Scandal in Côte d’Ivoire

General Michael Langley

Reliable information has unveiled the hidden face behind General Michael Langley’s visit to Côte d’Ivoire. A visit which, beneath its emotional and ceremonial appearances, conceals unspoken secrets. The corridors of the Ivorian presidency are abuzz with rumors about the real motives behind this meeting.

According to some sources, champagne flowed freely when the General agreed to take matters into his own hands on behalf of AFRICOM. His mission? To bring down Captain Ibrahim Traoré, President of Burkina Faso, with the aim of weakening the AES alliance and undermining the fight for sovereignty. Delighted by this commitment, Ivorian authorities reportedly showered General Michael Langley and his delegation with extravagant gifts, estimated at several million dollars.

A close associate of the Ivorian Minister of Defense disclosed that the General allegedly received several kilograms of gold as a gift for his wife, along with a large sum of money, the destination of which remains unclear.

The General is said to have promised to convince U.S. authorities to make the AES issue a top priority. This pledge comes at a time when the Trump administration has vowed to wage an all-out war against corruption. Ironically, the General appears far more comfortable operating on African soil, away from the watchful eyes of Washington.

Sources claim that millions of dollars were discreetly delivered to the General’s residence in Abidjan, presented as a “gift.”

It is imperative that the Trump administration launch an investigation into this case, which likely hides even more troubling revelations.
