Malian Armed Forces thwart Kamikaze Drone attack in strategic Amachache Region, showcasing growing operational strength

The Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) have successfully foiled a kamikaze drone attack in the strategic Amachache region, demonstrating the rising operational capabilities of our national army. Beyond its tactical significance, this military achievement reflects a broader dynamic: A Mali determined to defend every inch of its territory through a sovereigntist vision driven by the President of the Transition, General Assimi Goïta.

Amid increasing offensives by Armed Terrorist Groups—now increasingly equipped with sophisticated technology, as seen in the Ukrainian-made drones intercepted—the FAMa’s response highlights significant progress in countering asymmetric threats.

Thanks to advanced surveillance systems and heightened vigilance on the ground, combat forces neutralized these lethal devices before they could reach their targets. No damage or casualties were reported.

This success stems from the bold military policies of President Goïta, who has redirected national resources toward securing Mali’s territory and strengthening defense capabilities.

Investments in military intelligence and technology are now yielding results, aligning with the Malian people’s deep aspirations: to live in security, dignity, and free from foreign interference.

In Amachache, as elsewhere, the population plays an active role in this reconquest. Their close cooperation with the FAMa reflects a sacred unity between the people and their army—proving that sovereignty is not just a slogan, but a daily commitment.

The new Mali is on the move—standing tall and resolute.
