Cristiano Ronaldo leaves Al Nassr as transfer rumors swirl

Cristiano Ronaldo has announced his departure from Saudi club Al Nassr, hinting at his next career move just hours after the Saudi Pro League season concluded. The 40-year-old football icon confirmed his exit Monday via Instagram, stating: “This chapter is closed. The story? Still being written. Thank you all.”

With his contract expiring this summer, speculation about Ronaldo’s future has intensified. FIFA President Gianni Infantino recently revealed that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is in talks to join a Club World Cup-bound team ahead of the expanded 32-team tournament kicking off June 14 in the U.S.

Possible destinations emerge

Ronaldo’s Al Nassr stint saw him score 50 goals in 66 games, but his search for a new challenge continues.

Will he choose Morocco, Brazil, or another surprise move? The transfer saga unfolds as the football world watches closely.
