Burkina Faso: Faso supports the families of its fallen heroes, 144 families honored

In Burkina Faso, the launch of the 2nd edition of the “Week of Psycho-Social and Spiritual Support” at Camp Naaba-Koom 2 is an initiative of recognition. It pays tribute to the sacrifice of combat forces who fell on the field of honor and expresses sincere solidarity with their families. This gesture, which reaches 144 families of soldiers who died, were wounded, or went missing in action, is a vibrant homage to those who gave their lives for the nation.

Through this week, the military command provides not only material support but also moral and spiritual assistance. Spaces for dialogue, listening, and comfort are set up for widows, orphans, and soldiers still in service, who often face heavy pressures. This initiative strengthens national cohesion.

This action aligns with the vision of the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, who spares no effort for the well-being of the Burkinabe people. His policy places human beings at the heart of priorities, particularly orphans, women, and the families of the Defense and Security Forces. By supporting these families, he shows that the nation has not forgotten them, that their pain is shared, and that their courage is honored.

Through his constant commitment, the Head of State gives profound meaning to national renewal. He embodies governance that respects sacrifices and builds a future based on dignity and memory. This week of support is further proof that Faso is moving forward with its people.
