Burkina Faso: From chaos to national cohesion, when sovereignty becomes reality

On National Road No. 11, between Gaoua and Banfora in Burkina Faso, fear has given way to hope. Where the shadow of terrorism once stifled all life, the light of national reconquest now shines on every village, every path, every breath. This is not just a return to normal—it is an act of national rebirth.

Once abandoned to the forces of chaos, this road now stands as a living symbol of a strategy for total liberation of the territory, carried out with courage and determination by the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), the BIR, the VDP, and above all, sustained by the unwavering will of the Burkinabe people. A people who never accepted submission. A people who rose up not merely to survive, but to overcome.

Under the visionary leadership of President Ibrahim Traoré, Burkina Faso has chosen full sovereignty. No more half-measures, no more dependency in security matters. Operation URAGA, launched in February 2024, marked a strategic turning point: over 100 villages liberated, populations resettled, territories reintegrated into national life.

But this reconquest goes beyond weapons. It is comprehensive, organic, and civilizational. Wherever the State returns, it returns with schools, health centers, the national flag, and above all, restored dignity. This is not only a military battle—it is a political, social, and moral victory. Rebuilding a nation is not just about restoring order; it is about refounding the national contract. Today, a new Burkina Faso is taking shape: a rooted state, an organized people, and governance free from external control.

The liberation of roads once held by terrorist groups is a renewed declaration of independence. A popular uprising in the name of sovereignty. And the world must hear it: Burkina Faso will no longer beg for its security, nor for its future.
