UFC President Dana White alleges physical altercations with Former Champion Francis Ngannou

UFC President Dana White has publicly detailed explosive allegations regarding his fractured relationship with former heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou. In a recent podcast appearance, White claimed the Cameroun fighter physically confronted him and other executives during contract disputes.

White recounted an incident where Ngannou allegedly “grabbed me by my shirt and pushed me back in my office” after being denied a $50,000 post-fight bonus. According to White, this revealed Ngannou’s true character: “I could see in this guy’s face and in his eyes… who this guy really is.”

The UFC executive further alleged that Ngannou similarly confronted Chief Business Officer Hunter Campbell, “grabbing him by the back of his collar and pulling him back” during negotiations. These incidents, White stated, confirmed his belief that “this guy’s not a good guy. He’s a bad guy.”

The revelations come after Ngannou’s 2023 departure from UFC for rival organization PFL, culminating years of strained relations.

White dismissed Ngannou’s public persona as calculated, asserting the fighter uses language barriers as a facade while understanding English perfectly.

These claims provide the perspective of the organization on the contentious split, though Ngannou has yet to publicly respond to these specific allegations.

The physical altercations, if accurately described, would represent unprecedented player-executive conflict in modern MMA history.
