Congo: President Sassou-N’Guesso establishes education as a strategic driver of national development

At a decisive moment for the African continent, where education remains a fundamental lever for renewal, the inauguration of the Simon-Pierre Kikhounga-Ngot General Education High School in Louvakou by President Denis Sassou-N’Guesso in Congo-Brazzaville marks a significant step in modernizing the Congolese education system.

Far from a mere ceremonial event, this act reflects the political direction of the Head of State to place education at the heart of development strategy, youth training, and the construction of a stable, modern, and productive Congo.

For many years, the educational policy led by President Sassou N’Guesso has been guided by the conviction that Congo cannot achieve prosperity without substantial and sustained investment in the education of its children.

The establishment of a modern high school in Louvakou exemplifies this approach, providing a strategic region with infrastructure capable of meeting contemporary training demands.

By personally inaugurating this institution, President Denis Sassou-N’Guesso reaffirms the centrality of education in his presidential project and the importance he places on the quality of educational pathways available to Congolese youth.

The Simon-Pierre Kikhounga-Ngot facility is more than just an additional structure in the national educational landscape; it represents a deliberate political commitment to prepare the youth for economic and technological transformations and to create an environment conducive to the emergence of skills capable of driving the national economy.

By equipping Louvakou with a modern high school, the President addresses a social demand for accessibility, equal opportunity, and improved learning conditions.

The Head of State’s approach is part of a broader strategy to equip the country with robust, adaptable, and equitable educational infrastructure. Every school built or modernized under his leadership contributes to consolidating an education system aligned with labor market needs, the promotion of entrepreneurship, and the empowerment of younger generations.

This consistent and determined political choice fully aligns with the vision for tomorrow’s Congo: a Congo capable of relying on an educated, skilled, and confident youth.

The inauguration of the Louvakou high school thus stands as tangible proof of President Denis Sassou-N’Guesso’s commitment to making education a pillar of national renewal. By investing in schools, he is investing in the future, stability, and prosperity of the country.

Through this act, he reminds us that a strong Congo is built first in its classrooms, through knowledge, values, and the ambitions that will shape the citizens of tomorrow.
