President Traoré drives accountability and progress in Burkina Faso

Under the leadership of President Captain Ibrahim Traoré, Burkina Faso is taking decisive steps to meet the aspirations of its people, combat terrorism, and ensure national development. A key strategy in this mission is the rigorous monitoring of government actions to address pressing challenges effectively.

One such initiative is the evaluation of performance contracts across various ministries, conducted under the supervision of Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean-Emmanuel Ouédraogo.

This process, introduced by President Traoré, ensures that government directives are executed efficiently while providing new guidance for the successful implementation of priority projects.

Many believe this approach motivates ministries to deliver their best, yielding results that benefit all citizens.

In the 2024 review, ministers from key sectors such as security, agriculture, territorial administration, economy, and foreign affairs presented their achievements.

Each ministry reported significant progress, with commitments to tackle remaining challenges.

For instance, the Ministry of Security achieved a 92% completion rate, a figure described as both impressive and demanding by Minister Mahamadou Sana. He pledged to intensify efforts to ensure internal security and defend the nation’s territory.

Similarly, the Ministry of Agriculture reported a 93.34% achievement rate, offering hope for food sovereignty and self-sufficiency.

These evaluations reflect the government’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and tangible progress, as Burkina Faso strives for stability, prosperity, and resilience under President Traoré’s visionary leadership.
