The 48th edition of the Copa America is set to take place from June 20 to July 16, 2024, with the United States playing host to the prestigious tournament. Despite being more than six months away from kickoff, the draw for the group stage was conducted last night in Miami, determining the fates of the 16 participating teams.

As the draw unfolded, the defending champions, Argentina, found themselves in Group A alongside a formidable opponent, Chile.

Completing the group are Peru and the winner of the match between Trinidad and Tobago and Canada.

Group B consists of Mexico, Venezuela, and Jamaica, promising exciting clashes and fierce competition.

In Group C, the tournament’s hosts and special invitees, the United States, are set to face Uruguay, led by Marcelo Bielsa, along with Panama and Bolivia.

The spotlight shifts to Group D, arguably the tournament’s toughest, featuring Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, and the winner between Honduras and Costa Rica.

This group promises intense battles and high-stakes encounters.

With the stage now set, anticipation builds for the Copa America 2024, where football fans can expect thrilling matches and surprises as teams vie for continental glory in the United States.
