As the Australian Open approaches, world number one Novak Djokovic expresses confidence in Rafael Nadal’s return to competitive tennis, despite the latter’s recent absence due to injury.

Nadal, a 22-time Grand Slam winner, is scheduled to make a comeback in Brisbane before the prestigious tournament in Melbourne.

Djokovic, who surpassed Nadal in Grand Slam victories during the 2023 season, anticipates Nadal playing at his best and contending for the title.

Nadal, facing challenges from injuries and having undergone hip surgery, is gearing up for what may be his final season on the tour.
