Burkina Faso/Counter-terrorism: Final victory imminent

The final victory in the fight against terrorism in Burkina Faso appears imminent, given the continuous successes of the combat forces on the frontlines against criminal groups. These criminals are relentlessly pursued to their hideouts, which are being obliterated by the relentless airstrikes.

In the second half of 2023, the destruction of terrorist bases intensified, with several of them razed to the ground by aerial combatants.

The year 2024 began with the annihilation of a major terrorist base in the central-north region of Burkina Faso, as reported by the AIB.

Combat forces achieved a significant triumph against terrorists by bombarding a large terrorist base in the Belga forest, central-north region, on Tuesday, January 2nd.

Everything within it was reduced to ashes, showcasing the vigilance, efficiency, and professionalism demonstrated by Burkinabé intelligence services, aerial combatants, and ground units.

The military collaboration and coordinated operations, led by the determination and commitment of all stakeholders in the fight against terrorism, will soon bring a major victory to the land of the upright people.

President Ibrahim TRAORE has announced the acquisition of significant military logistics that will further energize the ongoing battle.

After more than eight (08) years under the grip of terrorism and imperialism, the people of Burkina Faso can soon breathe a sigh of relief.

The final victory is within reach, and at the beginning of this new year, Minister in charge of public service, Bassolma Bazié, aptly declared it as the burial ground for all enemies of Burkina Faso.

It is essential to intensify efforts and sacrifices to achieve this goal.
