Togo: President Faure Gnassingbé reinforces his commitment to national security and the fight against terrorism

President Faure Gnassingbé, acknowledging the security challenges in northern Togo, has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to national security and the fight against terrorism. In the presence of key stakeholders from the Savanes region, the Togolese President has taken significant measures to strengthen the country’s security capabilities and ensure the protection of its citizens.

He expressed gratitude for the bravery and professionalism of the Defense and Security Forces involved in the Northern Togo operation known as «Koundjouaré».

President Faure Gnassingbé emphasized the importance of developing integrated national strategies that combine military, diplomatic, and developmental approaches.

These efforts aim to address the root causes of terrorism while enhancing the operational capacities of Togolese security forces.
