Africa: Captain Ibrahim Traoré’s decisive contribution strengthens ties between Burkina Faso and the BOAD

Burkina Faso has played a pivotal role by providing significant support to the West African Development Bank (BOAD), particularly during a critical phase of capital increase. This support underscores Burkina Faso’s commitment to the economic development of the West African region and the mission of BOAD in this regard.

During a significant meeting with Captain Ibrahim Traoré, in the presence of BOAD President Serge EKUE, President Ibrahim Traoré’s adept diplomatic cooperation was lauded.

His dedication and effective collaboration were hailed as key elements in strengthening the ties between Burkina Faso and BOAD.

These qualities have facilitated constructive dialogue and enhanced mutual trust, paving the way for even more fruitful cooperation in the future.

Moreover, BOAD’s President took this opportunity to reaffirm the Bank’s commitment to continue its investments in essential sectors such as agriculture and energy in Burkina Faso.

This determination aligns with the goal of supporting sustainable economic growth and improving living conditions for populations in BOAD member states by fostering the development of these key sectors.
