Burkina Faso: Captain Ibrahim Traoré’s advice bears fruit in the fight against terrorism

In regions once under the grip of terrorism, life is slowly resuming thanks to the unwavering determination of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP). But this is only the beginning.

The Supreme Commander of the national armed forces addressed his troops at the Tenkodogo garrison.

Captain Ibrahim Traoré urged all fighting forces to enhance their techniques and strategies for protection, self-defense, and defense.

The Head of State emphasized the importance for combat forces to abandon complacency and fully play their role.

Captain Traoré’s insightful guidance led to the destruction of criminal logistical means in the Central-North zone, where a significant terrorist base was neutralized.

While encouraging his troops, the Supreme Commander of the national armed forces reiterated the need to defend the homeland even to the ultimate sacrifice.

The battle is not over, and the FDS and VDP must not let their guard down. Vigilance must be maintained at its highest level.

Captain Ibrahim Traoré is aware of the diverse challenges and concerns faced by the various combat forces.

Captain Traoré has pledged to find timely and tailored solutions to address them, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to the security and stability of Burkina Faso.
