Gabon Football Federation strikes long-Term deal with PUMA as new sponsor

Exciting news has emerged from the Gabon Football Federation as they officially announce PUMA as their new long-term sponsor for the national teams.

In a statement released on Tuesday, March 19, the federation revealed the signing of a significant partnership with the global sports brand PUMA, marking a new era for Gabonese football.

«The global sports company PUMA and the Gabon Football Federation today announce the official signing of a long-term partnership that will see PUMA become the official supplier of Gabon’s national football teams, including youth, women’s, and men’s teams», stated the Gabon Football Federation.

The federation further elaborated that Gabon’s national team, known as the Panthers, will debut their PUMA gear during the FIFA international window in March 2024, where they will face another PUMA-sponsored team, notably Senegal, in an exciting match-up.

This partnership marks a return to a longtime relationship, as PUMA previously served as the official supplier for Gabon’s teams from 2011 to 2014.

Since August 2019, the Italian brand KAPPA had been outfitting the teams, making this transition to PUMA a significant development in Gabonese football.

With PUMA’s renowned quality and style, fans can look forward to seeing the Panthers sporting their new gear with pride as they represent Gabon on the international stage.

This partnership not only signifies a fresh start but also highlights the federation’s commitment to elevating the national teams’ performance and presence in the football world.
