Burkina Faso: Captain Ibrahim Traoré presides over major initiatives in the Hauts-Bassins region

The Transition President and Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, embarked on a busy schedule this Monday in the city of Sya, participating in several nationally significant activities.

Foremost among these commitments, Captain Ibrahim Traoré will preside over the opening ceremony of the 21st edition of the National Culture Week (SNC).

This iconic event celebrates the richness and diversity of Burkina Faso’s cultural heritage.

Subsequently, the Head of State will travel to Bobo-Dioulasso to officially launch road construction and asphalting works within the city, as well as the rehabilitation and asphalting of National Road No. 08, Moami-Orodara-Koloko at the Mali border.

These road infrastructure projects aim to enhance connectivity and traffic flow in the region.

Additionally, Captain Ibrahim Traoré will lay the foundation stone for the Textile Industrial Complex of the Burkina Faso Forces (TEXFORCES-BF).

This initiative seeks to strengthen the country’s textile sector and create employment opportunities for citizens.

Finally, the Head of State will inaugurate an agro-food unit for edible oil production, contributing to the development of the agricultural sector and promoting food self-sufficiency in Burkina Faso.

These diverse interventions exemplify Captain Ibrahim Traoré and his government’s commitment to the country’s economic, social, and cultural development, particularly in the Hauts-Bassins region.
