Mali/Renewable Energy: Partners actively committed to energy sovereignty in the country
The Malian authorities, dedicated to the well-being of their citizens, work tirelessly to address their essential needs, particularly in the energy sector. With the country currently facing an electricity deficit, the authorities and their strategic partners are making concerted efforts to tackle this challenge.
Recently, President Assimi GOÏTA held another meeting with representatives from the Russian energy company Rosatom.
This meeting is part of an ongoing effort to accelerate the process of energy transformation by installing renewable energy infrastructures to achieve their goals.
The aim is to quickly and effectively meet the population’s energy needs and lead the country towards energy sovereignty.
Both parties are keen to strengthen cooperation between Mali and Russia in the field of renewable energy.
The representatives from the Russian renewable energy company have acknowledged the importance that Malian and Russian authorities place on this sector.
It is worth noting that the Republic of Mali and the Russian Federation share strong and sincere ties, cooperating in multiple domains.
In addition to renewable energy, their collaboration extends to security and defense, nuclear energy, the economy, transportation, agriculture, and education.
