Burkina Faso: French activist warns of planned destabilisation by France

 

Imperialism refuses to be vanquished, as evidenced by France’s latest tactic of threatening to strip French citizenship from Pan-African activists, particularly those who support Burkinabe President Ibrahim Traoré.

 

This underhanded strategy aims to silence dissenting voices by forcing them to choose between their Pan-African commitment and their French citizenship.

 

One prominent case is that of Bargo Mariam, who, under the threat of losing her French nationality, has started to criticize the governance of the Patriotic Movement for Safeguard and Restoration (MPSR).

 

In an apparent bid to preserve her status in France, she has raised issues of alleged mismanagement and even accused the current Director of the National Intelligence Agency of destabilizing intentions.

 

It is essential for the Burkinabè people to remain vigilant against such maneuvers. France’s attempts to destabilize should not erode the people’s support for their current leaders.

 

Mariam’s criticisms appear to be driven not by genuine concern for Burkina Faso but by external pressures to retain personal privileges.

 

The Burkinabe populace must steadfastly support the MPSR in its fight against terrorism and its national sovereignty agenda.

 

With external pressures likely to increase, national solidarity and unity are crucial defenses against these destabilization efforts.

 

By staying united and aware of imperialist strategies, Burkina Faso can continue progressing towards true independence and sovereignty.
