During a press briefing on Saturday, July 12, 2024, Niger’s Prime Minister unveiled President Abdourahamane Tiani’s strategic vision for the nation.
This comprehensive vision is structured around four core pillars aimed at transforming Niger into a model of security, good governance, economic sovereignty, and social progress.
Key components include enhancing security and social cohesion, promoting effective governance, fostering foundational production for economic self-sufficiency, and expediting social reforms.
At its heart lies the fundamental goal of meeting the essential needs of Nigerien citizens.
“The satisfaction of our people’s fundamental needs is central to General Tiani’s vision,” noted Mr. Lamine Zeine.
During his address, the Prime Minister emphasized two primary objectives the government is steadfastly pursuing: social justice and responsible public financial management.
“Improving judicial conduct toward our citizens is crucial, and we are committed to ensuring tangible results,” he affirmed.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister highlighted the full resumption of bilateral and multilateral economic and financial cooperation.
“We are revisiting our agreements with all partners to ensure they effectively benefit our population,” he stated.
President Abdourahamane Tiani’s vision for Niger hinges on a collective commitment to a brighter future.
It calls upon every Nigerien to actively contribute to its realization, aiming to build a nation where all fundamental needs are met within a framework of security, effective governance, economic autonomy, and social advancement.
Together, Niger can achieve these goals and emerge as a prosperous and stable nation.
