Football/ New FIFA rankings after Euro 2024 and 2024 Copa America

With the end of the Euro and Copa América tournaments, FIFA has unveiled its latest rankings of the top national football teams.

Spain, newly crowned European champions, has surged five places to secure the third spot.

Only Argentina, the reigning world champions, and France remain ahead of Spain.

Spain’s triumph at Euro 2024 earned them an impressive 105.75 points, propelling them up the rankings.

France maintains its second place, thanks to their semi-final appearance in the tournament.

England, the Euro 2024 finalists, improved their position by moving from fifth to fourth.

Meanwhile, Belgium, who had a disappointing run in the Euros, dropped three places to sixth.

This reshuffling highlights the dynamic nature of international football, reflecting the recent successes and setbacks of these top teams.
