Kylian Mbappé’s PSG exit sparks legal threat over unpaid dues

The saga between Kylian Mbappé and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has taken a legal turn, with Mbappé’s mother threatening judicial action over unpaid dues.

The departure of Mbappé from PSG to Real Madrid was marked by high tensions, particularly during his final match for PSG against Toulouse.

The rift stemmed from a loyalty bonus accepted by Mbappé in February, despite his decision not to renew his contract.

Consequently, PSG withheld his salary for April and now owes him €80 million.

French daily “L’Equipe” reported in May that communication between Mbappé’s camp and PSG had broken down, with both sides only speaking through lawyers.

The Parisian later revealed that PSG also withheld Mbappé’s May salary, increasing the amount owed to €100 million.

In a recent interview, Mbappé’s mother, Fayza Lamari, confirmed the complete rupture with PSG and expressed gratitude for the club’s role in Mbappé’s career.

However, she emphasized that the unpaid salaries issue remains unresolved and is now in the hands of the judiciary.

Lamari hopes for a swift resolution but warned that if PSG fails to settle the debt, legal action will be inevitable.

The Mbappé family remains firm in their stance, seeking justice to ensure the contract terms are honore
