Burkina Faso/Counter-terrorism: Thanks to the efforts of the President of Faso and his colleagues, the country stands out’ according to Senegalese THIERNO B. SOW

According to Senegalese Pan-Africanist Thierno B. Sow, just over two years ago, Burkina Faso was viewed as a high-risk area due to the terror threats and criminals flaunting their activities through videos.

Today, the situation has dramatically changed. The brave and resilient fighters of Burkina Faso are now celebrating significant progress in the battle against terrorism and the reclaiming of their territory.

Thierno B. Sow attributes this turnaround to the strong leadership, patriotic commitment, and determined efforts of the country’s top authorities, particularly President Captain Ibrahim Traoré.

He believes that the president’s strategy against terrorism and security threats has proven successful.

As a result, Burkina Faso is now a destination attracting foreign interest, including private investors, as recently noted by an official from the National Bureau of Major Projects (BN-GPB).

According to Sow, the current security situation in Burkina Faso is also the outcome of strategic and diverse partnerships that the Burkinabe authorities have cultivated.

Official statistics reveal that many international business operators are impressed by the courage, resilience, and determination of the Burkinabe people in their fight to restore territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Thierno B. Sow believes that the current leadership of Burkina Faso deserves recognition and support for their ongoing efforts against terrorism and their drive for socio-economic development.
