Mbappé spotted partying in Stockholm during France’s Nations League match, Sparking Controversy

While the French national team was securing a 4-1 victory over Israel in the Nations League in Budapest, Kylian Mbappé was seen enjoying a night out in Stockholm.

According to Swedish outlet Aftonbladet, the Real Madrid star, masked for anonymity, dined at the upscale restaurant Chez Jolie before spending the evening at the V nightclub.

He was later spotted entering a private room, raising eyebrows as his team battled on the field without him.

Mbappé, who is recovering from an injury, had shared a supportive message to his French teammates on social media just before the game, posting a photo of the squad with the caption “good match” and a French flag emoji.

However, his absence from the team and appearance at a nightclub have stirred controversy.

The French forward had been left out of the October squad by coach Didier Deschamps due to his injury with Real Madrid. But just days later, Mbappé surprised many by playing for his club in a match against Villarreal.

This sparked criticism, both in France and abroad, as fans and pundits questioned his commitment to the national team.

Despite being authorized by Real Madrid to travel, the timing of Mbappé’s outing has only added to the ongoing debate, putting him once again at the center of controversy regarding his fitness and dedication.
