Burkina Faso: Setting course for sovereignty, action-oriented governance and efficiency

The legitimate aspirations of the people of Burkina Faso are immense, driven by an unshakeable desire for sovereignty, security and development. Aware of these expectations, the government has a duty to live up to this national ambition and to respond with determination to the demands of the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, whose vision charts the course for a Burkina that is resolutely on its feet.

With this in mind, His Excellency Mr Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo, Head of Government, has urged all ministers to redouble their efforts to consolidate the achievements of 2024 and give a new impetus to 2025.

The time has come for action, with speed and efficiency as the watchwords, in order to speed up the transformations that are essential to building a strong and resilient Burkina Faso.

The government of Burkina Faso, through its courageous and bold actions, demonstrates every day its unfailing commitment to the total sovereignty of the country.

Whether in terms of securing the territory, strengthening the national economy or asserting diplomatic independence, the State is working tirelessly to ensure that Burkina Faso fully controls its destiny.

The government’s determination is to be applauded, as it reflects the spirit of resistance and dignity of the Burkinabe people.
