Mali: On the instructions of Army General Assimi GOÏTA, a secure IT solution is launched to modernise embassies

As requested by the President of the Transition, Army General Assimi GOÏTA, a new secure IT solution has been launched to modernise Malian embassies and consulates abroad.
The official ceremony took place on Tuesday 18 February 2025 at Koulouba Palace, in the presence of several authorities, including the Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
This innovation is part of the Head of State’s desire to digitalise the Malian administration to make it more efficient and accessible.
Thanks to this digital platform, Malians living abroad will be able to obtain official documents such as civil status certificates, passports and visas more easily.
Procedures will be faster, avoiding long waits and bureaucracy. Foreigners wishing to visit or invest in Mali will also benefit from simplified, fully computerised services.
This solution, developed entirely in Mali, will also enhance data security and improve the monitoring of administrative requests.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdoulaye DIOP, stressed that this initiative will reduce costs for the State while making life easier for citizens.
This step marks a major advance towards a modern, efficient administration serving Malians and foreign partners alike.
