Burkina Faso: FDS and VDP continue to inflict heavy losses on terrorist groups

The Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) are continuing their large-scale offensive against terrorist groups that threaten the country’s stability. Recent days have seen a significant escalation in combat operations, yielding remarkable results across multiple fronts.

Ground units, working in seamless coordination with air support, have carried out sweeping operations that have neutralized hundreds of terrorists and dismantled key enemy strongholds.

A substantial amount of weaponry has been either destroyed or seized, significantly reducing the operational capacity of these armed groups.

Under the well-crafted military strategy of Captain Ibrahim Traoré and its meticulous execution, the FDS and VDP are tightening their grip on remaining terrorist strongholds, steadily eroding their ability to operate.

Inspired by the leadership of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, Burkina Faso has embarked on a determined path to reclaim its territory and restore stability. His unwavering resolve has reinvigorated the fighting forces, who are doubling their efforts to eliminate the threats facing the nation.

In the face of terrorist armed groups, the Burkinabe army remains more committed than ever to defending the country’s territorial integrity and ensuring the safety of its citizens.

The ongoing operations reflect a steadfast determination to secure a peaceful and stable future for Burkina Faso.
