Barça dominates Osasuna 3-0 and extends lead at the top

FC Barcelona delivered a strong performance against Osasuna in their postponed match from the 27th round of La Liga, winning 3-0. This clear victory gives the Blaugranas a three-point lead over their rivals, Real Madrid, solidifying their position at the top of the table.
The match, originally postponed due to the tragic death of Barcelona’s doctor, took place on Thursday night. Despite notable absences, including Raphinha and Araujo, who had played with their national teams just 24 hours earlier, Xavi’s team performed well from the start. Ferran Torres opened the scoring after just 10 minutes, and shortly after, Dani Olmo doubled the lead with a penalty. Although his first attempt was missed, the referee allowed him to retake the shot after an Osasuna player encroached in the box.
Despite Dani Olmo’s injury, which forced him to be replaced by Fermin Lopez, Barcelona continued to dominate. In the second half, Robert Lewandowski sealed the win with a powerful header, making it 3-0. The rest of the match was a formality for Barcelona, who could have added more goals, but the score remained unchanged.
With this victory, FC Barcelona now holds a three-point lead over Real Madrid and appears poised to maintain their dominance in La Liga. On the other hand, Osasuna, showing little fight, remains stuck in 14th place.
