Mali: President Assimi Goïta celebrates Eid El-Fitr and urges national unity

On Sunday, March 30, 2025, His Excellency General Assimi Goïta, President of the Transition and Head of State, performed the Eid al-Fitr prayer at the Koulouba Palace, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan. This moment of reflection, filled with devotion and spirituality, was an opportunity for the President of the Transition to deliver a strong message to the nation.

Following the prayer, the Malian Head of State addressed the press to extend his heartfelt wishes to the entire Muslim community of Mali, the member states of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES), and the Malian diaspora. He paid tribute to the spirit of solidarity and brotherhood that prevailed during the fasting month, urging Malians to uphold these essential values beyond Ramadan.
