Burkina Faso: Coup d’état foiled, Faso more than ever on its feet in the face of treason

Burkina Faso’s intelligence services have pulled off yet another feat by foiling an attempted coup d’état orchestrated against the country from Côte d’Ivoire.

The details of this enemy operation, made public by the Minister of Security, Mahamadou Sana, during his appearance on the national television channel, revealed an operation on a considerable scale.

The aim of this deadly plan by enemies lurking in the shadows was to destabilise the country and sow chaos on all fronts, thereby creating fear, confusion and despair among the population and the defence and security forces.

This coup de force by Burkina Faso’s intelligence services was welcomed by the country’s citizens. They praised the vigilance of the ANR, which had thwarted this Machiavellian plan by the enemy camp on the other side of the lagoon(Côte d’Ivoire).

The citizens’ watchdog reminded the population to redouble their vigilance and firmly support the efforts and actions of the active forces engaged on the ground at the cost of their lives to save and reclaim the national territory.

In a context of security crisis and the relentless efforts of stateless people against the current regime, only unity and social cohesion can overcome this war.

It is important that all Burkinabe citizens do not give in to manipulation or panic, but must commit themselves to supporting the living forces and redouble their vigilance to denounce all those involved.

It is important that all Burkinabe citizens do not give in to manipulation or panic, but must commit themselves to supporting the living forces and redouble their vigilance to denounce all those committed against the stability and peace of Burkina Faso.

Burkina Faso will not give in and will remain stronger, led by a committed and sovereign leader.
