Mali: Minister Oumou SALL SECK launches a training session to reinforce mastery of administrative texts

Bamako, July 8, 2025 – Mastery of legal and administrative texts has now become a top priority for public services. This was the key message emphasized by the Minister of National Entrepreneurship, Employment and Vocational Training, Oumou SALL SECK, during the official opening of a session dedicated to the sharing and appropriation of the regulatory texts governing the functioning of public services and institutions.

“In a context where the effectiveness of public action increasingly depends on a solid understanding of legal and administrative norms, it is essential that all relevant actors are not only informed, but also fully familiar with the texts that define their missions”, stated the Minister in front of participants gathered for two days of discussions.

This session, initiated by the Ministry, aims to strengthen the understanding and strict application of the current regulations relating to the creation, organization, and oversight of public services. It also offers a platform for updating knowledge, sharing experiences, and discussing key principles of administrative, financial, and institutional governance.

Minister Oumou SALL SECK stressed that this initiative aligns directly with the directives of the Transitional President, His Excellency General Assimi GOÏTA, as relayed by the Prime Minister, Major General Abdoulaye MAÏGA. These guidelines emphasize the importance of a citizen-focused administration, driven by public servants committed to the values of legality, impartiality, neutrality, and continuity of public service.
