Burkina Faso: Captain Ibrahim Traoré launches the second session of the Faso Mêbo Holiday Camp

Near Ouagadougou, the President of Faso and Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, launched the second session of the Faso Mêbo Holiday Camp, held this year in Bobo-Dioulasso, at the heart of Guiriko. This event reflects the vision of the Transitional authorities to shape a youth that is aware, disciplined, and committed to serving the nation.

Scheduled from August 29 to September 7, 2025, the camp will bring together children from different parts of the country. Its objective is to provide guidance that combines learning, civic values, and solidarity, in an environment conducive to patriotic education and national cohesion.

During this period, participants will benefit from a diverse program that includes civic and military training, learning paving techniques, as well as introductions to landscaping and urban beautification. These practical activities are designed to instill a spirit of hard work, teamwork, and appreciation of local skills.

In addition to training, the camp will also feature tourist excursions, recreational activities, and solidarity actions, aimed at stimulating the intellectual curiosity of young people, strengthening their social bonds, and fostering a spirit of sharing and mutual support.
