Death of Charlie Kirk: Pro-Trump Influencer Killed in U.S. Shooting

America is in shock following the death of Charlie Kirk, one of the most prominent conservative voices and a staunch supporter of Donald Trump. The founder of Turning Point USA was shot and killed on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, during a shooting at Utah Valley University, where he was attending an event.

According to initial reports from local police, confirmed by several U.S. media outlets, an armed suspect opened fire in the middle of the conference, sparking panic among students and attendees. Charlie Kirk was fatally wounded despite the swift response of emergency services. The shooter fled the scene, prompting a massive manhunt across the state.

At 31, Kirk had become a leading figure in the American conservative movement. Known for his often controversial remarks, he was both a feared debater and a highly followed public speaker, especially among young Republican voters. His organization, Turning Point USA, had established itself as a key force in mobilizing right-leaning youth across the country.

Kirk’s death has triggered a wave of reactions across the political spectrum. Donald Trump praised him as “a courageous patriot and a strong voice for America,” while political opponents condemned the violence and called for national unity.

This tragedy once again reignites the heated debate over gun violence and firearm proliferation in the United States, at a time when the political climate is already deeply polarized.
