Football/ Business: Snoop Dogg expresses interest in investing in Celtic FC
American rap icon and longtime Celtic FC supporter Snoop Dogg has publicly expressed his interest in investing in the Scottish football club. The 54-year-old artist, whose fandom began after receiving a club jersey in 2005, revealed his ambitions in an exclusive interview with the Daily Record.
This announcement comes during a turbulent period for Celtic, following Brendan Rodgers’ sudden resignation and growing supporter dissatisfaction with the board.
Snoop Dogg stated he’s ready to contribute financially, declaring, “If the owners want to ask, I’m down.” While ruling out a coaching role, he emphasized his belief in the club’s potential and his desire to help bring top talent to Celtic Park.
The rapper also weighed in on the managerial situation, advocating for the return of former coach Ange Postecoglou, predicting fans “would love that.”
Snoop Dogg recently became a co-owner of Swansea City and has previously mentioned aspirations to open a food truck outside Celtic’s stadium, demonstrating his continued engagement with football club ownership and the Celtic community.
