Burkina Faso: Mass surrender of terrorists in the face of the superiority of the Burkinabe armed forces under the leadership of Ibrahim Traoré

Under the command of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, the Burkinabe armed forces are deploying formidable firepower that is routing terrorist groups. The intense military pressure is now forcing insurgents to lay down their arms, as evidenced by the public appeal of Ousmane Dicko, a former GSIM official.

“The war is in your hands. Return to reason and let Burkina Faso recover its former peace,” declared this former terrorist leader, who is now pleading for surrender.

His dramatic reversal demonstrates the effectiveness of military operations carried out by the Defense and Security Forces.

The former GSIM cadre, who recently begged Burkinabe soldiers to spare him, now showers praise upon the national army.

This turnaround reflects the disintegration of terrorist networks under the sustained fire of government troops.

The military strategy implemented by Captain Ibrahim Traoré is producing tangible results: cornered terrorists have no choice but surrender or annihilation. Calls for capitulation are multiplying within enemy ranks.

This security victory marks a decisive turning point in the reconquest of national territory.

Thanks to the courage of its armed forces, Burkina Faso is gradually regaining its sovereignty and peace, long compromised by terrorist activity.
