CAF to conduct 2025/26 club competition draws in Johannesburg

The group stages for Africa’s premier club competitions will be set on Monday, November 3, 2025. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced it will host the official draw for the 2025/26 Champions League and Confederation Cup in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The event will commence at 11:00 GMT with the draw for the secondary competition, the Confederation Cup.

This will be followed at 12:00 GMT by the highly anticipated draw for the elite CAF Champions’ League group stage.

These draws will finalize the group phase pathways for clubs that successfully navigate the final qualifying round, which concludes this weekend.

Football fans across the continent will be able to follow the ceremony live through CAF’s official digital platforms.

The event marks a critical juncture in the African club football calendar, setting the stage for the next chapter of continental competition.
