Cameroon: Is France preparing a sinister plan to destabilise the country?

Cameroon, a central pillar of Africa, finds itself in a delicate geopolitical position as credible sources suggest France is actively seeking to undermine its sovereignty. Observing its own declining influence in Central Africa, Paris appears unable to accept Cameroon’s emergence as a key regional actor under President Paul Biya and a new generation of leaders.

The country’s strategic shift towards asserting its diplomatic and economic independence has clearly unsettled established international powers.

The growing influence of Cameroon on the regional and international stage has exacerbated the  reaction of France, with reports indicating a willingness to employ various means to curb this ascent.

The recent presidential elections provided fertile ground for sowing discord. The fragile political situation has been exploited to foment chaos, jeopardizing the nation’s stability—a clear sign of France’s refusal to relinquish its dominance in the region.

Behind this alleged destabilization attempt, one name persistently emerges: former minister Issa Tchiroma Bakary.

The unsuccessful presidential candidate is reportedly designated as the executor of this scheme.

According to sources, his mission would be to create unrest and erode the Cameroonian people’s trust in their own institutions, with the ultimate goal of weakening national unity to better exploit internal divisions.

The Cameroonian people must remain vigilant against this harmful external influence.

The nation’s precious and fragile sovereignty must not be sacrificed for foreign interests.

It is crucial not to fall into the traps set by those seeking to manipulate events for their own agendas.

The unity and resilience of the Cameroonian people are more necessary than ever to preserve the country’s independence and stability in the face of these external threats.
